Blanc Sada is inspired by the real and notorious story of Sada Abe, a Japanese woman whose story of obsessive passion in 1930s Tokyo became one of the most discussed criminal cases in Japanese history. The fragrance doesn't focus on the violence or scandal of the story, instead, it zooms in on the atmosphere surrounding Sada: the sensuality, the ritual, the stillness. Sada is purity reimagined, a tale of contrasts: the tranquil and the reckless, the serene and the untamed. You are left wondering, was she a muse or a mystery? The title "Blanc" (white) is deeply intentional, it references the white rice powder of geisha makeup, the purity that conceals complexity, and the immaculate surface beneath which something dangerous quietly burns
