Indult Cuir 404 EDP

Description

Cuir 404 is leather with the windows open: bright citrus and pink pepper up front, soft suede and clean woods behind. Francis Kurkdjian composed it for the Paris house Indult in 2024 as a modern reworking of Rêve en Cuir, the leather he made for the brand in 2008. The name borrows the web's "404 not found" error, a wink at a leather that is there but never heavy. It opens with a citrus accord, bergamot and pink pepper, turns warm with clove and cardamom, and settles into a leather and suede accord over cedar and vetiver. Think of it as a lighter, fresher leather than the smoky, tarry kind.

Scent Character

Translation: a spiced leather. The spice share is the pepper, clove and cardamom that frame it, and the leather row is the suede-soft leather accord at the core.
