Description

Kobraa is smoke and wood: black incense drifting over a deep oud, kept fresh by a green thread of geranium. Part of Bvlgari's Le Gemme, the house's high-perfumery collection in which each scent is tied to a gemstone, it draws on snake jasper, a stone Bvlgari links to Zealandia, the largely submerged continent. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud composed it in 2020 around a smoked black incense heart essence, with white incense and olibanum alongside and oud in the base. Geranium at the top keeps a clean, slightly minty core beneath the smoke, so it feels mysterious without turning heavy or medicinal.
