Lao Oud is Dmitry Bortnikoff's tribute to Laos, a country he has visited more than twenty times and whose unhurried, 19th-century rhythm shaped this composition. Built around a rare Laotian oud, honeyed, floral, and feral, softer than its Indian counterpart yet just as deep. It's layered with rich coffee, warm cinnamon, and pink pepper, with wisps of incense evoking golden temple rooftops. It stands as perhaps the most intensely oud-forward and coffee-rich fragrance in the Bortnikoff collection, a fragrant walk through the misty mornings and ancient monasteries of Vientiane.
