Cuir de Cerise is Bortnikoff's ode to fruited leather, opening with tart sour cherry warmed by luminous saffron before settling into a heart of supple leather laced with osmanthus and ripe apricot, softened by an unexpected green olive facet. The base grounds the composition in rich, in-house distilled agarwood and smoky nagarmotha, lending an earthy, mysterious woody trail true to the house's naturalist philosophy. It's a study in contrast, vibrant fruit against dark leather and precious woods. Rendered with the depth and sillage that come from Bortnikoff's near-100% natural, traditionally distilled oils.
