Defender is Boadicea the Victorious's 2024 release, composed by Kamila Lelakova, the house's first female perfumer.

Red fruits, cognac, honey, licorice, ginger and grapefruit open bold and boozy, myrrh, hay, orange blossom and night-blooming jasmine build a resinous, farmhouse-tinged heart, the hay is said to nod to Lelakova's own upbringing, and it settles into tonka bean, Peru balsam, labdanum, red amber, musk and real leather. The brand describes it as gender-neutral and "profoundly personal," and it reads bold and tenacious rather than delicate.
