Description

Chai Fleur is a spiced floral that feels like a cup of chai on a quiet morning. Frank Voelkl composed it for Belnu, the California house built on ingredient transparency, and it was released in 2025. Nutmeg, cinnamon and green cardamom open it warm and aromatic. The heart softens into violet and lavender, with labdanum adding a resinous shadow so the florals never go sugary. The base is creamy and woody: vanilla bean, cypriol, cedarwood and sandalwood. Belnu describes it as comfort and introspection, and it wears that way: warm, gentle and unhurried.

Translation: spice and woods in equal measure, with a soft vanilla sweetness and a violet-lavender floral heart. There is no oud in it.
