Description

Madame M is a velvety pear-and-cocoa extrait with a warm, resinous musk base. Nathalie Feisthauer composed it for Astrophil & Stella, and the house frames it as an evening where vice and virtue merge. It opens on Italian bergamot, Guatemalan cardamom and pear. The heart holds cocoa absolute, jasmine, Hedione, carrot seed and Virginia cedar, which gives a dry, earthy sweetness. The base is rich: patchouli, Spanish cistus, labdanum, vanilla, Siam benzoin, tonka, cashmeran, ambrette and musks. It is made at 28% as an extrait, and it wears intimate and warm rather than loud.

Translation: sweet and resinous, with pear and bergamot keeping it bright. The amber share is the labdanum, cistus, benzoin and patchouli in the base. There is no oud in it.
