Description

Chromodoro is a green, boozy aromatic built around tomato leaf and gin. Julien Rasquinet composed it for Astrophil & Stella, inspired by the Space Age design of the 1960s. It opens with tomato leaf, basil, angelica root and blackcurrant bud, which is sharp, leafy and a little fruity. The heart adds a gin accord, juniper berry, rum, wormwood and Egyptian jasmine, so it turns herbal and cocktail-like. The base is clean and quiet: sandalwood, vetiver and musk. It is made at 21% as an extrait, and it is an easy pick if you want something green and unusual rather than sweet.

Translation: woods and green freshness in close balance, with a fruity blackcurrant sweetness and herbal spice. There is no oud in it.
